[Computerbank] Just because I swallow, doesn't mean that I like the taste (was Re:About what happened on Computerbank channel)

So, you know, since the day you guys are all busy creaming yourselves over, I 
havn't said a word on this subject, and in fact I havn't said a single word at
all to either kylie, simoeon, or avery.

Lets start at the top.  I shouldn't have called avery a fucktard.  I firmly
believe that, if you are capable of configuring your mail client to filter
out the emails, you are capable of reading the last like of the mail in
question were it tells you how to unsubscribe, and hence not doing so is
either pettiness because she's pissy that someone (else) offended her, or
laziness, but it is not for me to speculate which.  I do not apologise for
this opinion, but yeah, fucktard was a poor choice of words with which to
express it, and that I apologise for.

As far as I am concerned, this disucssion is over.

With that out of the way, let me address you guys.  Just because I let you all
group fuck me in the ass with a chainsaw, doesn't mean that I enjoy it.

Let me first make one thing crystal clear.  I did not complain to anyone.  I 
did ask danny if he knew who A_Young was, because I didn't, but beyond that,
I didn't bring the whole process down, the people who emailed kylie did that,
who then chose to participate, as always, because lets face it, no-one can
resist an oppertunity to engage in attacking jaymz.  indeed, it seems to be
the computerbank national sport.

It's funny, kylie, that you talk about being non-judgemental.  You are the
single most judgemental person that I know.  The difference between you and
me, is that I freely admit to judging people.  It's also ironic, then that 
you use the word "low" to describe the actions which led from avery leaving
the channel before anyone could reply, when I often hear second hand the
things that you think about me from people whom you obviously believe don't
talk to me.

I don't really understand why I did to make everyone involved with
computerbank hate me so much.  Don't tell me it's the abuse thing, that didn't
start until I got frustated with being said object of hate.  You know, if you
constantly tell someone that they are the problem in the world, eventually
they're gonna believe it and act out accordingly.  That's psychology 101, and
I would be very surprised if you, who has said to me on numerous occasions how
enlightened you are due to your social work training, and how much more I'd
know about this stuff if I had it, were not taught this in your course.

Feel free to have me banned from #computerbank, however.  I couldn't care
less about that.  That said, if you're going to pull rank and say "oh, but
founder!", let me paste this from chanserv:

I live with grant, and, romana doesn't really like you, whereas she likes 
people who are close to me.  Like I said, I don't care if you ban me, but
if you want to make an issue of chanserv rank, I invite you to go right
ahead.  I'm sure I'll hear about it when you crash and burn.  As a side
note, have you ever heard the term "Founders Syndrome"?  You should look it
up, you seem to be suffering.  I have no idea if you knew how to manage 
volunteers unclouded, but your current clouded attempt is, to say the
least, increddibly sorry.

You have said to me a few times of late that I'd have been fired from
computerbank long ago, if it was a real office.  Having worked in several
real offices during my carrear (yes, I have one of those, I'd been working
in IT professionally for 6 years before I was introduced to computerbank
two years ago), I can assure you that my behaviour would not have been an
issue, because the problems which led to said behaviour would have been 
forcibly solved by the people above both of us long ago.  Probably by you
being fired (see previous paragraph).

Most of the IT professionals who were ever involved with computerbank have
left.  Myself, grant, or both are still on good terms with almost all of them.
Can you honestly say the same?  I often wonder how believes that one can run
"computer"bank without, what we have often been described collectivly, "stupid
lazy geeks".

It's funny, you know, the first time I came into computerbank, both my carrear
and myself were attacked so viciously by trish, for having the audacity to
work in IT (the cause of all of the worlds social problems, aparently), that 
I didn't come back for four months after that.  People convinced me that it 
was an anomoly.  If only they had been telling the truth.  Instead, every time
I go into the office, I am faced with the assertion that my time has no value.
For someone who came to computerbank in the process of burning out to the point
of almost complete breakdown from overwork in his last job, it is an 
incredibly bitter pill to swallow.  I know that you have said that the
organisation has a negative effect on your mental health, but you seem to 
believe that you are the only one.  Let me assure you that this is about as 
far from this as you can possibly get.

But that's okay, because I'm just a stupid, petulant, lazy geek, right?  I'm
not enlightened like you.  If I was, I'd just leverage something to try to 
force you to comply.  Or failing that, yell.

While I apologise to avery, I am not going to be making any such apology to
simeon.  This is because, I scincerly believe that he is a fucktard, and 
possibly a mentally defective one at that.

Danny claims that he posted the log to find out whom A_Young is, and this is
a perfectly sensible explanation, since none of us had any idea at all who you
were from your IRC nick.  You know who I was, because you used my real name.
So why did you email the log, simeon?  Did you want little kylie to make the nasty 
bigger boys leave you alone?  What is your excuse?

And you guys have the gaul to call *me* a coward.

Don't try and tell me that you're some innocent little flower who is offended
by this sort of crap.  I don't think I've ever had a discussion with you where
you haven't been activly hostile towards me.  But then, that's probably
because, on first meeting, you tried to deal with communicating with a new
person by intimidating them with your industry experience, which I then
proceeded to laugh in the face of.  You represent everything I hated about
the dot-com boom, the idea that thinking is not required in order to do
useful things.  I didn't say this to you at the time, because I was trying to
be nice, however since you have never felt the need to return the favour, I
am giving up that route.

I don't believe that it was just concern for the channel, either... you went
way beyond that.  So, what's your motivation?  You don't strike me as the "I 
hate jaymz because everyone else hates jaymz" type, really.  I'm genuinly 
curious.

Here's a free tip:  if you want a nice, clean, child-safe, regulated medium, 
IRC with people whom you treat like dirt isn't it.  If you want mindless 
support drones whom you can assrape at every opertunity, well, you need to 
pay people to do that, because you don't get to do it to me for free.
