Double sized Tiles and Units ??? 'no' problem == I already did it (for Windows) :-) see:- http://www.questions4steveb.co.uk/html/Wargames/CF-build-v060(one problem == the factory build drop-down 'list' uses a fixed 'reduction' of the Unit artwork to create it's icons == so 'big Unit artwork' means 'big factory icons' and they 'overflow' the space allowed .. BUT it still works ..)
PS I just checked and some of my download 'links' failed == hopefully I've corrected that
NOTE: whilst double sized works better on small screens for the existing maps, I went away from this because I wanted to do much larger battlefields ..
(I'll rebuild my 'reworked' (-x3) maps in 'double size' when I get time) Cheers Steve On 09/03/2017 00:44, Laurent CHEA wrote:
Hey guys, I tried yesterday just for the fun to polish some icons in the game. For now I have removed the metal background, and made the icon borders sharing the same tones as their inner content instead of showing a big bold black border. I also tried to add details to the tank, the plane and the ship. It leads me to the following question : - how difficult would it be to adapt the code in order to display 64x56 tiles instead of 32x28 ? I'm just talking about the code, I definitely understand that all the icons would have to be recreated. Who did create those unlikely maps anyway? It's been so long, I for my part don't remember...I created Lake Yukarwa; the idea is that it is the site of a dam under construction, hence why you can't cross the channel.
