Hey guys,
I tried yesterday just for the fun to polish some icons in the game.
For now I have removed the metal background, and made the icon
borders sharing
the same tones as their inner content instead of showing a big bold
black border.
I also tried to add details to the tank, the plane and the ship.
It leads me to the following question :
- how difficult would it be to adapt the code in order to display
64x56 tiles
instead of 32x28 ? I'm just talking about the code, I definitely
understand that
all the icons would have to be recreated.

For anyone who is interested, I've re-worked the Crimson Field Unit
definitions
(so, for example, all aircraft move faster than any ground unit - and
trains go
faster than tanks) and tweaked the terrain tiles a bit (so it's
now a bit
faster
on 'tracks' then cross-country)

Hi Steve,
that was quite an entertaining read.
Who did create those unlikely maps anyway? It's been so long, I for my
part don't remember...
I created Lake Yukarwa; the idea is that it is the site of a dam under
construction, hence why you can't cross the channel.
