Summary: Make preview-widget resizable and respond to scroll events

Initial Comment:
Small changes to make the preview widget resizable to
fit its drawing allocation.

Works without any difference in behaviour with the
existing component picker.

Also adds the standard events handler for scrolling on
a page, allowing scroll wheel zooming to work in
conjunction with my base patch for scroll wheel zooming.

(Due to the lack of scrollbars on the preview widget,
scroll wheel panning does not work)

Keeps existing panning behaviour of the widget, which
probably ought to be changed to match that of mouse
triggered panning elsewhere in the code.
