Sorry for beeing so unclearly. I wrote this message in a hurry :-)

Yes, I open it directly in gattrib. I wanted edit the attributes of the pins in
a faster way.

When I open it it says segmentation fault on the command line. I thought gattrib
could open symbol files, because it has a tab named "pins" and in the "open
file" boy there is a filter chooser for schematics, symbols and show-all.
But now I tried to open a few other symbol files and everytime I get a
segmentation fault. So I think gattrib is not for editing symbols :-)

I have got version 20070216 (from the gentoo portage tree). If I have a little
space I will try it with the cvs version.
