gEDA-user: Resetting search paths

Hello,

I am currently adding (component-library "yadyyadyyada") lines
in my local gschemrc file to customize my search path by project.
Is there a way to reset the existing path to null so I don't have
to deal with the default config?

My first thought was to simply edit the files in gEDA/share and
fix the problem there but that would have to be repeated everytime
I downloaded a new release or added a new system
