The package to be installed is gtk2-devel on Fedora 10. It provides
gdk-pixbuf-2.0.pc.

aptitude search libgtk2
..
libgtk2.0-dev

aptitude install libgtk2

H: Failed to fetch
http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/g/gtk+2.0/libgtk2.0-dev_2.12.11-4_i386.deb:
404 Not Found 

Then I did:
sudo aptitude install libgdk-pixbuf-dev

but the error is still there.
