Thanks for the report. Do you mind if I stick this note into teh
INSTALL.SuSE file?
Also, I remain a little bit concerned. When I create the CD, I
"freeze" the python stuff, and create an executable "install.exe",
which is supposed to have all dependencies wrapped up in it. (The
shell script "install" just calls this executable.) Therefore, if you
got the installer to work by installing some new stuff, it suggeests
that the freeze process doesn't do 100% of the job.
I will look into this. Meanwhile, please do let us know of your
success/failure.
Finally, the installer does check for wxGTK's version. I think you
need 2.5.2 or above, but I don't recall. You can loook at the source
-- install.py -- to see what version is required.
