gEDA-user: Wireless comms options

Hi all,

I'm looking for a few pointers regarding wireless comms.  I'm developing
an application that needs to send a stream of data from one device to
another, but I don't have much experience with wireless technologies and
I'm not sure where to start looking.

The data is a primarily a video stream (800x600 @30fps either as an
H.264 stream or composite video), but will also have a command/config
data channel.  The data will be transmitted point-to-point over a couple
of meters to a receiver -- no network infrastructure needed.

Any pointers appreciated!
