For pins and vias, you can use the thermal tool. If you shift-click, you
get the various different styles, which includes "solid".

You can't do it with pads. For those you have to place some lines which
are flagged not to clear the polygon, or use a small rectangle which is
set ("s" KEY?) to ignore lines.
