	Yes, I do ack the problem and I do not know why your patch wasn't
even acknowledged. 

	As mentioned in a different thread, gEDA/gaf used to have a bug
tracker, but it died when the server was replaced and the tracker
software itself is no longer being maintained.	I haven't found a suitable
replacement yet.

	I would be most willing to apply your patch if 1) it is against
a current gEDA/gaf version (preferably the noweb sources) and 2) it
doesn't change existing behavior in a bad way (ie it doesn't introduce
unwanted side effects).

	Unfortunately, I cannot disagree with either point.
