RE: gEDA-user: PCB: Clearing polygons in soldermask



I just tried that, and it seems that pad size is limited to 250 mils. I can't anyplace where that maximum is adjustable. :(

Couldn't open soldermask be achieved thru creating a surfmount pad that is
really big and making it into an element?  Or a surfmount pad with no size and
a very large mask area?

If you just want to add heatsink area for a sot-223, this would seem to be
good enough.
