In select mode, do a click and drag over the part you want to copy.  
Then Buffer>Copy into 1. Then File>Open Page to the target page,  
Buffer>Paste from 1, click to place it where you want it.

When doing this stuff, the Page menu can be handy to navigate from  
one to the other. Or, use File>New Window to get yourself two windows.
