gEDA-user: pcb external libraries

Hi,

When using the lesstif GUI of current PCB as of today, where do I put the
configuration line for external libraries that goes like:   library-newlib = /home/john/....

I tried local gafrc, ~/.pcb/settings and ~/.pcb/preferences and no show.

Is Peter's gschem style library window with footprint preview ready as a patch to test with GTK GUI pcb?
