gEDA-user: help needed with pcb auto-optimize

Hi

I am working on a small design there should go to a proff. pcb shop. For
that reason I would prefer to have the best look on the design.

I don't seem to be clever enough to get auto-optimize to work. I can
read about the funktion in the manual

but it doesn't seem to work for me. Are there any tutorial available out
there, or does anyone have a few tricks?
