	That's probably the problem.  You installed gEDA/gaf via an rpm?
Curious.  Simplest fix is to grab the gschem-20030223.tar.gz file and
grab the bitmaps from the bitmaps/ directory and manually copy them
into /usr/share/gEDA/bitmap
