I usually choose the B size titleblock as well. With the standard gschem
library printing a B size drawing on A size paper has worked out
well.

I have found the standard gschem symbols a bit larger than I prefer.
For the box symbols an easy solution is to grab one of box symbol
creation programs and make your own symbols. See gedasymbols.org.
