On my box, the packaged file is gdk-pixbuf-2.0.pc, and obviously this
must be correct on a large number of machines otherwise we'd have
encountered this problem before.
What OS / Distribution / GDK / GDK version is this being built against?
Are you sure you have the relevant -dev or -devel packages installed?
