Hmm, that looks to be 1.4.3.

I'm running 1.6.1 (built from source) on Ubuntu 9.10, and I don't see this problem. I had to try it just now, though, because normally I use the "c" command (not control-C) to copy/paste in one step (unless I'm copying between pages).
