List all tags in a repository:
git tag

Listing a specific tag:

git tag -v tagname

e.g.:

git tag -v 1.6.1-20100214

object 11921dc18209ed4ea12288114634bb94a5b9b8a9
type commit
tag 1.6.1-20100214
tagger Ales Hvezda <ahvezda@xxxxxxxx> 1266201876 -0500

gaf 1.6.0 released February 14th 2010
