gEDA-user: Problem with spice model in both ngspice and gnucap



(I sent this before, but did not see it show up on the list. My apologies if this is a duplicate.)

I'm trying to use a spice model from Microchip and I can't get it to
work with either ngspice or gnucap. I'm using ngspice rework version 17
with xspice enabled and gnucap v0.35.

The errors with ngspice are of the form:

and for gnucap the related error is:

A copy of the .ckt file and the log files is attached.

Any help or suggestions on how to get the model to work would be
appreciated.
