Besides those correct replies about "ratsnest", I sometimes use
another trick. Sometimes I
draw a track from nowhere, and need to connect it to some other tracks
or pins. Surely the ratsnest does not exist for this track. I just
draw a polygon to connect the track and the tracks I want it to
connect to (needs to press 's' on the polygon to turn off the "tracks
clear polygon" mode), and then you are allowed to connect the tracks.
