I thought you had to load the layer stack from the command line!
I'd not got around to filing a feature request for a "File->Open", but
perhaps this might still be a useful at some point. Seems at least two
people now haven't realised it was possible to do via the layer-stack
buttons.

That output is a nice touch.. I like it in gwave too.
