gEDA-user: How to make gschem files GPL

Hi, I am interested in licensing my gschem and pcb files.  In my case I am
trying to use the GPLv3 license.  Normally there is a GPL header in files
licensed under the GPL, but I am not sure how to attach this to schematics.
Would it make sense to embed the header into an attribute?
