Shouldn't be needed, since /usr/local/lib is already in your ldconfig
search paths:
less /etc/ld.so.conf.d/libc.conf
Try running "sudo ldconfig" after you install libgeda instead, to
rebuild the cache / make a symlink, whatever magic it needs to do.
