Sorry for the html-formatted e-mails but i am not able to change this
because this is my office mailbox.
With GIMP i have the same problem. It seems that this appears after
installing the actual gtk2 for geda.

Yes, I'm old fashion and don't believe in using a mail reader that
will automatically render HTML. Please turn off HTML formatted e-mail
and post to the geda-* lists in plain text only. Thanks.

Hmmm. I don't think I have ever seen this before. Are there any
other messages printed out to the terminal window where you started geda
or gschem? Do other gtk+ applications work on your box okay?
