(yes, I soldered 01005's and 0.4mm pitch ICs with NO SOLDER MASK)

FYI there won't be mask-between-pins on the 01005's and 0.4mm's on the
final boards either; the fab can't place mask that precisely.  I'm not
sure such a small amount of mask would even be useful.
