I've spent a lot of time on the floor, with assemblers. They are mostly
concerned about warpage, edge clearances for grabbing boards, heat
sensitive part. When asked about SMT parts variety the answer was
usually "Nah, not to worry about that, just try to avoid SMT/TH mix if
you can".
