gEDA-user: Question about embedded components in gEDA/

Wehn gschem creates embedded components, does it translate the x,y 
components?  It seems to ignore the arguments to the "C x y ..." line 
and puts the part relative to (0,0).

Why do I care? I wrote a script that converts the resistors and
capacitors in my schematic to digikey parts using the python library I
posted last week.  This is because I don't usually get around to
specifying form factor, manufacturer, etc. until after my design is
done and I'm ready to begin layout.

To avoid clutter I am creating these components as embedded. They all 
show up in the bottom corner of the screen.

If I save them as a separate symbol file each, then refernce them, they
show up at the proper place.
