This is good to know.  I will insert a note into the README that you
need to have the -devel versions of most packages to get the CD to
work.  Question: Is there an installation flavor of FC4 which
automatically installs all the -devel versions of the various packages
when you first install it?

Question:  What is the result of "gcc --version"?

If you continue with the install, the CD just goes to the next program
and tries doing the "./configure && make && make install" thing on
it.  That is, the errors don't accumulate.
