Well, I'm not going to say a lot about most of this...but I do have just
one comment.

In our group out at the University of West Florida (which I know isn't
strictly analagous to LKB), members that decide that it's their way or the
high-way are very quickly relegated to relatively minor roles.  We've
increasingly found, as our budgets continue to fall short of where we
would like to be (and most likely should be with as many hours as we've
donated to UWF), that we need people that are very flexible thinkers,
rather than those who won't consider ideas that didn't originate with
them.  With LKB you don't have to worry about budget very much (since you
have excellent sponsors), but the fact remains that if you have people
that always want it done their way, you don't get very far.
