That will be awesome.  I'm already hacking on some of the files, but i
think I'll wait for the devel tarball to test them.  The object code
I've put up there so far doesn't *quite* seem to be working and I'm not
sure why not...  will be nice to have it locally to probe more.

This is essential to make this.  I know my part should be fairly quick
and easy.  If I was totally up to speed on everything, it shouldn't take
more than a few hours.  I guess the combination of the new way of doing
things, other changes, lots to do at work, etc., took its toll on my
availability and productivity.  I apologize, and I really *do* want to
see this deadline made.
