I'm not ignoring our category method.  I put a lot of work into coming up with a
good category system, I'm not about to throw it away.  What I'm saying here... is
we have two different methods that achieve two very different results.  I can
choose from the lowest level of categories/applications (whichever you want to call
them) in a drop down to instantly achieve a very narrow search, OR I can begin to
navigate the category tree... it's my choice as a user, and I think that both are
fine methods... I just don't want category drill downs to be the ONLY method of
narrowing a search, since someone that knows EXACTLY what app they want to search
on is not going to want to navigate down through 9 pages just to narrow his search
down.  If your navigating, chances are your not sure... and in that case, the
navigation is nice, but if you are sure... you want to be able to type yur search
and go... no fooling around with categories... I know that would annoy the heck
outa me.

Thoughts?  Or am I not explaining myself clearly here?
