Because it is spammy, especially when your script
breaks, your server acts up, you forget about it,
something else changes, the world ends, etc, etc...
... that cronjob is still spamming away at other
people after you're dead.

It's better to provide tor-assistants with the
dyndns name once, then let them spam themselves
with their own repeated lookup of it if they want :)
