put into the situation of either complying with the law or facing

if one is truly
concerned about their anonymity, they shouldn't use a vpn. this is just
another example of why.

If one is truly concerned about their anonimity, then one deals with the source of the problem : government, instead of wasting time with technological patches that won't work in the long run.
