I created a branch "branch_0_1_stable" in CVS.
That branch contains the "stable" version - only bug fixes etc are allowed
into it, and when the "devel" line of development reaches another main
release (0.2) it will be discontinued.
In short:
(1) go to a fresh dir (i.e. somewhere out of your current local copy of the
sources)
(2) Create a working copy of the stable code with:
# cvs checkout -d stable -r "branch_0_1_stable" penguinplay
(3) Create a working copy of the devel code with:
# cvs checkout -d devel penguinplay
In these dirs "cvs checkin", "cvs update" etc can be used normally (without
the -r parameter); CVS automatically accesses the correct branch.
