there have been about 30 downloads of the RPM packages, but
we have yet to hear a single report of "yes, they worked.",
or "no, they corrupted my system, had to reinstall everything."

i'm eager to get pygame announced all over the net, but i really
haven't wanted to without knowing the actual download packages worked.
someone out there must have tried them already? please the project
really needs a little feedback here.

tomorrow i'll be announcing the project, regardless of feedback,
so if it turns out there are horrible problems, the blame will
lie on your shoulders :]
anyways, just letting you guys know this is the last chance to
make a difference. good luck!

btw, there have currently been around 450 pygame-1.0 downloads
in the past 4 days. i'm really surprised, especially since no one
outside of the pygame mailing-list really knows about it. cool beans.
