You might look at "Rocky's Boots" (at
<http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=2569>), and the related games
"Gertrude's Secrets," "Robot Odyssey," and "Think Quick!" "Rocky's
Boots" was a remarkably complex kids' game that had you building
circuits to solve logic problems (and fight an alligator!)
Oh, and MIT worked on a project called the "Education Arcade," aka.
"Games to Teach," trying to come up with some new ideas for working
education into entertainment. See
