Re: Fwd: [pygame] Is there an InputBox function in pygame/python?

It works!!

I just added the additional import line. I also tested out other
keys, like symbols and numbers and the function keys, but there didnt
seem to be any serious problems. F4 and etc just didnt do anything,
and numbers and symbols displayed as expected. The escape key made a
little box character (I dont know *what* that's doing! - usually
escape will close the program. but within the text box it gives this
hieroglyphic-looking box character), but that's ok. When you hit it
and are looking at the game, it looks like it obviously doesnt work to
hit the escape key, so you can backspace and get rid of that box
character and type on as usual.

Looks like I might have a completed game, with all of the features I
wanted it to have! Will wonders never cease!

Thank you all for your suggestions and advice, and for making a new
kid like me feel welcome here :)

teh Cool!

But i'd really like to see the whole game one day...

I'll go to bed any minute now, so congrats and goodbye, for now...
