[pygame] pygame demographics

just checking recent access logs to see how 'business' is doing...

wow, i was floored. had to go back and doublecheck the results.
just so you folks can stay in the know and see who your fellow
developers are, i thought i'd share some quick statistics

first, there have been over 350 downloads of the 0.4 release
packages. i know, i know, i'm just as surprised as the rest
of you :]

65% of the downloads are ZIP files, with the majority of those
being the full win32 binaries download. on the 'unix' side
about 20% of the downloads are RPM. (not sure what the
ratio of tarball:rpm is since the rpms were actually released)

at this point i'm gonna wait another release or two before
promoting pygame out to anymore places. currently just sdl,
freshmeat, and parnassas have links. there's plenty of 'eyes'
grabbing the source at this point.

also, there are now 22 folks (self included) on the mailing
list. from those i've talked to, it seems pretty even split
between windows and unix.

so far, mail of got from people is positive. people aren't
having trouble getting pygame installed correctly.
(either that, or many are just giving up without pursuing)

anyways, now you're all abreast with the current situations :]
