[pygame] Re: Pygaming on the GP2X or Nokia 770

I have a gp2x and it's not too bad. The big thing for me was the open-source nature, the sd-card slot, the fairly decent CPU speed (2 x 200MHz).

So far it has almost lived up to my expectations. Stuff seems to be easy to port, emulators and games run pretty well and some videos play fine. HOWEVER, tv-out seems dodgy at the moment, and there are some questions about how committed to open-source the company really is.

I was concerned at the reports of units suddenly up and committing suicide, or "auto-bricking" http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=23009

The GP2X has a great price point and seems to have
	a more enthusiastic developer community.

But I'm leaning towards the Nokia 770 because it has a huge
screen (800x480) and a stylus input device.

Again this is because I have a specific app I wish to develop
which wants lots of screen real estate and fine control
to move playing counters on a scrolling hexgrid map.
	Otherwise the GP2X is attractive.
