couple of pygame projects made this weeks Python Weekly URL...

    You'll need a user interface to go with all of those pretty
    pictures.  PYUI is a user interface library written in 100%
    Python using PyGame!

    Games based on PyGame just keep popping up. Pygris is a falling
    blocks game written in Python. Next I predict, PyKombat, PyMario
    and PyQuake!

looks like the pygris site has been swamped recently. i suppose you
can take that as good news or bad news :]

anyone have their pyquake running just yet? sure wouldn't want to
disappoint the python community ;]
