hmm, it took awhile to figure this out. it appears both libpng and 
libtif had their own conflicting versions of zlib builtin. what a mess, 
it is fixed now and better than ever.

and as compensation for all the windows users troubles, i've built a 
version of pygame to run with python2.3 (alpha2). so pick your poison!
