In order for the AR Toolkit to work, it has to have access to a web cam (the
PS2's eye toy works for example). Given this is python bindings for the AR
toolkit and it explicitly states Linux & Mac OS X support, you may find this
a good starting point. A possible point of contention for the AR Toolkit will
be the license, which may preclude inclusion with pygame.
However, I suspect it's worth a look :-)
