I completely agree.  

Of course, as I've never really used a debugger, I believe I know python very well--the only problems I really need help with are those using other modules, like PyOpenGL and PyGame (I'm pretty good with both currently though).  

All excuses, of course--I really should be using the convention for clarity.  I've just learned it this way and I don't really care to unlearn it.
