[school-discuss] Online Conference: Free computers for STEM students



Hi, I just wanted to share with you an event we’re hosting: a free online conference about a new (free) program that supports STEM education by refurbishing decommissioned computers with open source software.  We hope you can join us, details below.

The FLOSS (Free/libre Open Source Software) Desktops for Kids program teaches students to rebuild desktop hardware and software--learning about computers and computing by doing. Once completed, students take their computers home… "for keeps."
