Linux Journal has just issued the second of a 2-part series on setting
up Linux Terminal Server in an educational environment.

The articles focuses on a computer lab in Sisler High School, a
1600-student school in Manitoba. While the article talks about the reasons
for using a terminal server lab -- cost, effective use of old hardware,
freedom of choice, exposing students to new ideas, etc. -- the article also
gets detailed/technical in its description of hardware, configuration, and
setup.
