[school-discuss] good news from TCEA

Hi there everyone!

I have good news from the Texas Computer Education Association 2008 conference.

I would say that about 30% of the workshops offered were about free resources,
open source software, and Linux.  This is the first time I have attended and
felt like every session was fabulous.

I got great information on online broadcasting, video production, podcasting,
video conferencing, rubrics, Wikis, Moodle, Firefox extensions I had never
heard of . . . etc. etc. . . . 

Also, I joined the Strategic Open Source Special Interest Group of TCEA.  It was
a small group, but enthusiastic.
