I really like the idea of a landing page with some information about the situation plus a way to still get to the regular Sourceforge information. Along with any links on the landing page about where to get more information on the topic, it would be nice to supply ways for users to get involved such as where to e-mail your Senators or Congressmen or a link to a page that will let you send a letter to your representatives. Will be very curious to see what Schoolforge comes up with for this. Please continue to keep us in the loop on this. I'd like to post something to my own web site as well.

A possible compromise of Bill's compromise...a landing page that posts some brief info about the issue with a clickable link to go read further that redirects after a set time. A image / link could also be placed at the top of the left-hand column that would also direct users to more information.
