[school-discuss] Yorktown Highschool Students Program for their Peers
Dear Friends,
Two Yorktown High School students (in Jeff Elkner's class), Mike Alderman and
Scott Burger, have written an article for Open Source Schools about "a project
creating a new implementation of Karel the Robot, a programming language that
will be used to help introduce students to computer science next year. This
new implementation, which we are calling pyKarel, was written by Yorktown High
School student programmers Donald Oellerich and Waseem Daher, under the
guidance of professional programmers Steve Howell, Michele Moore, and Lex
Berezhny."
